Falling in love is one of the most amazing feelings. I truly understand why they call it Falling in love now. From the second i knew that this baby girl was coming into our lives i knew i would love her. But seeing her for the first time and holding her head as she slept in my arms making her cooing noises that only she makes i fell. I fell hard for this beautiful girl. It really is like having a first crush. Her every move and noise just makes my heart sing.
I can say without a doubt that Finley Mae is the most loved baby in all the world.

I am an Aunt! Well she is still cooking for now we want her to get just a little cuter before she comes. But in less then two months i will be holding her and changing her weird yellow baby poop and taking one million trillion pictures!

I know that this whole pregnancy has been a very hard time for everyone who loves my sister Lindsay because in some peoples minds this is the end of the road for her. But to everyone who has ever known and cared for my best friend knows that she has never done things according to the "norm" She is the strongest, bravest, most un-normal person i know, and i celebrate her differences every chance i get.

The wonders of U.V.U.

Today is my second day of classes... I missed my first class and while waiting for my second class (which i was an hour and a half early for) i found myself drawn to the people of U.V.U... my peers if you will. Sitting in a group of quote "young people" i see that 98% are on their phones talking and or texting someone else. 75% on computers are on facebook (which i detest) 50% are classmates from high school who all remember me as one of two things 1- hey weren't you Kate Daly's locker partner?! or 2- aren't you the girl who never came to school?

My answer has been no, i have never heard of Lehi High before, i am from out of state. But this is a lie. OK onward... 10% of the students at U.V.U are NOT married i repeat Not married. That leaves me with Pablo... The Portuguese student who have been sitting at a booth with signs that are not in English waiting for someone anyone to stop at his booth and speak in his native tongue to him.....

....Don't you know Pablo there are no Portuguese students here... only married white people and Asians.

What is the truth about cats and dogs? Is one better then the other? This is just a little test between the two, the subjects being Bulldog Gertie, and Barn Cat Chuck.....

At 8 weeks Gertie slept for 23 hours of the day, for the other hour of the day she ate.

At 8 weeks Chuck (Charlotte) hand made a family quilt with no prior experience with a sewing machine seeing as she had recently been homeless in our barn.

At 13 weeks Gertie got full control of her neck and tried walking for the first time... thats when the accident happened and she became cock-eyed.

At 13 weeks Chuck started a Blog and has started a new shelter helping a certain type of homeless... those without thumbs.
